Where are my exported videos?
Exports are saved directly to your Photo Library, in the same album as your most recent camera roll. You can share them from Photos just like any other video.
Why is there a white background around my video?
4:5 fits your entire video inside the chosen frame without cropping. If your source is a different aspect ratio, the empty space is filled with white. This is intentional, and prevents any footage from getting cut off.
Does 4:5 upload my videos anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your device. There is no server, no account, no analytics. See the privacy policy for details.
Can I use 4:5 on iPad?
The app is built for iPhone. It may run on iPad in compatibility mode, but we don’t yet ship a tuned iPad layout.
Does 4:5 support HDR?
Yes. HDR source material is preserved where the device and export settings support it.
